Why Hire Content Creators?

Video and written content (blogs, articles, e-books etc.) are the best ways to promote projects, ideas, and products. Consumers are tired of constant direct advertising, especially when the products advertised are not enriching their lives in any way.

If you are an expert in your field, creating content should be easy for you. You share your knowledge with the world by making videos, writing blogs, articles, e-books, creating classes etc. Creating content takes time, especially if you care about quality. In my case, I write a lot, but I don’t make as many videos as I would like to. At this moment in my life, I physically don’t have enough time to record, edit, re-edit, do the sound and colour correction for my projects. As any filmmaker or content creator, I am toying with video ideas, but I know, that even though I’m an expert in this field, I would have to hire another filmmaker to record and deal with the post-production for me, to be able to focus on another project. Within the time another filmmaker is in post-production of my videos I can write my books, as well as e-books, scripts, blogs and keep on improving my Film School or be in pre-production/production of my next project.

Time is about the only commodity we are not going to get back, or have more of. What if there is a technical issue and you get stuck on during your post-production process, or you can’t make yourself sit in front of your computer and write for 8 hours a day to turn your e-book idea into a reality. I, for instance, got stuck with technical difficulties on my feature film “Anna & Modern Day Slavery”, and even though I graduated from the film school as an editor, it still took me few years to complete the whole post-production process on my film.

I believe that hiring people to help us create content saves money. I know that at times it can be expensive or may feel like it’s waste of time, especially when you go back and forth with the feedback, or you keep explaining your concepts and ideas over and over again.

However, the fact that someone else but you are going to take care of writing, graphic design, or video making, frees up a lot of time for you to build your brand and your business. It is not only the physical time you are after but also the brain space you must have to come up with creative solutions to problems.

In reality, the people, who you hire to help you create content, give you the time you need to think and come up with ideas instead of dealing with technical difficulties you don’t know how to solve.

For anyone, who looks for content creators, my suggestion would be to look around and find people who can understand what you are trying to achieve; people that you feel comfortable talking to about your project goal; content creators who listen and deliver what you ask for. The time you will save will help you enhance and grow your brand in ways you may not have known were possible before. Give yourself the time you need; the only commodity you can’t buy or get more of and delegate tasks that are not your area of expertise.
