Introduction
I’m passionate about storytelling and strongly believe in the magical powers of stories to heal and guide us through life. Despite working as a storyteller throughout my whole working life, only very recently, I realised that the most important narrative we tell is our own. The distractions not to find our own narrative are very powerful and addictive; we can all easily fall prey to those. Our resistance and commitment to understanding and accepting our own story must be based on more than motivation. Through scaling down the distractions and looking for a sweet spot where the focused deep work lives we could all develop habits that would guide us towards owning our own stories.
About myself
Over the past two decades, I’ve worked as an artist, creative freelancer (filmmaker, writer, project developer and manager) and entrepreneur. In the past two years I joined London Metropolitan University as a research and inclusive communication coordinator. All those roles and experiences have helped me expand my skills and knowledge while building, re-building and re-inventing my art practice through a deeper understanding of creativity on an individual level.
My professional creative journey began in 1999 after I joined acting school. Since then, the world has changed so much, leaving me no choice but to adapt quickly, learn how to spot trends and push through the fear that can trap creatives and creative energies. Despite being a neurodivergent learner who always struggled in the traditional educational setting, my love for learning through storytelling allowed me to expand my knowledge and skills while finding creative solutions to problems I encountered.
Progress can only take place if we intentionally show up despite fear, anxiety and doubts creeping in. Any creative journey that starts from within is full of unexpected detours, bends and turns but, most importantly, growth beyond who we already are. If you are ready to embark on your creative journey with me. I would be delighted to guide you through the Another Way approach to creativity from within.
The work covered in the 10 weeks Project Development workshop will help you with:
– Reflecting on your project
– Scaling down and focusing your energy (multitasking doesn’t work)
– Connecting with your creative self
– Organising your workflow in a way that works for you
– Taking ownership of your own story and your own narrative
– Repairing connection with your intuition and creative self
– Learning how to change your personal story and the environment around you one story at a time.
How does this work?
– After filling out the Google form, I will contact you to schedule our first call.
– Our sessions will take place once a week for 10 consecutive weeks. Maintaining this momentum is crucial, which is why the work is planned over this time period. Consistency is key to building habits.
– Each week, we will explore a different topic designed to help you advance your project. The topics are part of the Another Way workshop, but the discussions will be tailored to your specific project and personal circumstances.
– You will have homework to complete each week, which we will discuss during our next call. Completing the homework is essential, as it keeps the momentum going and helps you develop a habit of nurturing your creativity and creative space while taking ownership of your aspirations.

A little bit more about the Another Way workshop
The Another Way project began as a public art workshop I led in 2023 during the London Festival of Architecture. Initially focused on community engagement, the workshop has now evolved into a program that fosters personal growth through a slow approach to creativity. Drawing from my own creative journey, I have designed Another Way to offer a holistic experience of creative self-love and self-care, emphasizing that creativity is integral to our true selves. The Another Way workshop guides individuals seeking to recognize and reconnect with their creative intuition while embracing their beliefs, life circumstances, and creative aspirations.
