Women in Film and Television – Toronto (WIFT-T) is a non-profit professional organisation. WIFT-T supports women in screen-based media (film, television and digital media) to build, advance and sustain their careers nationally and internationally. WIFT-T does this through high-quality, hands-on programming, mentoring, networking, and industry events that recognise the talents and potential of women. Our mission is to enhance the skills of our members so they can become essential decision-makers at all levels of the industry.

Women Make Movies is a multicultural, multiracial, non-profit media arts organisation that facilitates the production, promotion, distribution and exhibition of independent films and videotapes by and about women. The organisation provides services to both users and makers of film and video programs, with a particular emphasis on supporting work by women of colour. Women Make Movies facilitates the development of feminist media through an internationally recognised Distribution Service and a Production Assistance Program.
