Making a puppet theatre.

Making a puppet theatre.

Few days ago we learnt how to make socket bunnies. Today it is time to make a puppet theatre so your kid can put up a performance for you.

You will need to spend a little bit of money on this unless you have some extra fabric, string, glue & 3 pieces of wood. But even then it altogether shouldn’t be more than £10/$15.

If you don’t have some extra fabric & string you can use long ribbon or muslin cloth instead.

The 3 thin pieces of batten or any planed pieces of wood can be found in your local hardware shop & honestly it’s not expensive to get it. You can paint the wood, which alone should be loads of fun for your children.

1.  Get the string/ribbon sewn to your two pieces of fabric, one on each side.

2.  Glue the 3 pieces of wood together. One on the top & one on each side.

3.  Get the string with fabric across the top wood. You can use little nails or drawing pins for that.

Your puppet theatre is ready. Of course you can make it more complex and as big and fancy as you want.

Enjoy,

Books/stories I recommend for today:
